But at no point before now have I cleared an area, double checked it to be sure there are no zombies wandering, and then had them attack every time I try to open a van or car trunk, just popping into existence seemingly just to interrupt me.Īlso. I understand how firecrackers work I've used them before. Originally posted by _StanleyTweedle_:Minding your open business on a doorway somewhere won't help - YOUR A ZOMBIE MAGNET !! #Dying light turn in more than one air dip Patch
I know this game is a few years old, but I'm hoping someone from the dev team sees this and is willing to maybe offer a patch to fix these issues. It also feels like the zombies appear whenever you try to open any locked vehicle, which is so unfair as to be ridiculous in the extreme.Īnd lastly, can the zombies not blame me for everything and follow their normal mechanic of 'going to where the sound is'? If one of Rais' men is shooting one in the neck and making a huge racket, it shouldn't be charging at me like that's gonna fix the problem. TL DR version: Does this game actualy randomly teleport zombies close to you in order to try to make itself more difficult? And if so, are there any devs around who can fix this horrible concept? probably by a Sploder appearing next to them. How is anyone in Harran safe if the zombies can literally appear anywhere that you're not looking? The inside of most safe houses aren't lit with UV, so anyone who tried to sleep without it shining directly on them would die. What I'm not ok with are randomly teleporting zombies. I'm ok with them moving faster than expected (though since Old Town was infected first, shouldn't it have more SLOW zombies, since the fresh ones are the fast moving ones, and with the sheer number of dead or zombified people, there can't be enough living people to constantly make that many new ones). I'm fine with them hiding around corners, or sometimes moving nearly silently (No, I'm NOT ok with completely silent zombies! It's a zombie, not a ninja.).
#Dying light turn in more than one air dip full
I am FINE with the city being chock full of zombies and some areas being so thick with them you can hardly move. *Whack!* WTF?! Kill the zombie, walk around to be sure it's all clear again, try to open the truck *flurry of punches the head!* This goes on for quite some time. *Whack!* Where'd that come from? Kill the zombie, look around to be sure it's all clear, try to open the truck again. They literally ignore the source of the sound to charge at me. One of Rais' men shooting at me from range, attracting zombies. Random Sploder types appear and exploding and angering every zombie in town. Walking in slow, paranoid circles, watching crowds of zombies appear out of thin air, often close enough to grab me, even when I'm all but standing in place and spinning to keep watching my back. Already rushing at me, they're so close.įine, I'll take that they must have wandered in. Was that a zombie behind me? Turn around and it's TEN zombies. Ok, I can handle these guys! Cleared the bandits, and all the nearby zombies ended up taking a while but I did it now for some scouting.
I hadn't made a sound, yet they were really peed off, and before you know it, the swarm started coming in. After I got to the ground, zombies began screaming. I climbed down from the library safe house in Old Town just to wander around and learn the neighborhood.Except I couldn't.
